Since my car has been lying about a bit lately, ive noticed just about all wheels losing air regularly now, so want tyres off for checks and new valves etc done. Whilst this is happening i may aswell look at having them done a different colour, any recommendations for Glasgow/Ayrshire area for refurb?

I previously used Powdertec in Glasgow a couple times, but its now under new ownership and not sure what they are like now.

Mike the polisher. A few people on here have had their wheels done by him.

I've used both companies listed below for powder coating wheels - both did a great job at a decent price:

Glentyan Alloys (Linwood) http://www.glentyanalloys.co.uk/alloy/
Carrick Engineering (Prestwick) http://www.carrickengineering.co.uk/

I use them for changing my tyres recently and have been great, from the alloys lying around looked like good quality

I got mine done at the wheel specialist East Kilbride. No complaints, think it cost me £240 all in for 18" multispoke.

Well Powdertec want 260 for same day for 4 wheels and Carrick quoted 220 for same, EK a bit too far out the way.

Prestige get some good reviews, anybody any experience of them or who the local rep is in the area?
