After buying the new race car, I am unable to collect it due to going offshore on wednesday. Have been quoted ridiculous prices by most of the specialist companied online.

Does anyone know of anyone cheap and trustworthy, or does anyone on here with a decent trailer fancy picking it up from Oxford and delivering to Perth scotland.

Car is very low and pretty wide so needs to be a trailer to accommodate.

lol I used to transport my Ultima around on our trailer, so the technical side should be covered. Do you have any particular time issues with this? I might be able to work it in with an xmas round trip over the next 6 weeks, drop me a mail if you want to discuss.

Carlo McCrindle of TopGear cars in stoneyburn is up and down quite a bit with his transporter. He sometimes returns empty, call him and ask. His can take any low wide cars as he mainly uses it for Lambos.

Could be lucky and catch him

I used Shiply to deliver a car from Bristol to aberdeen with no problems.

This was the guys site who was through Shiply and he has an enclosed car transporter, well he did a couple of years ago.He was a first class bloke and I think he was based at the borders.

I would definitely use him again.

Might be worth trying http://www.falkirkcarcarriers.co.uk - I used them to shift my TVR Chimaera and couldn't fault them really. Price was very reasonable too.
