Awesome. This was great last time. I can still hear the noise of the XJ220 on the circuit!

Theres a twitter account for the event

@alfordspeedfest2014

Announcements will be made as and when we are able to.

The website will be along shortly, and we'll be sending out invitations for entries in the next couple of months.

Sadly when the date for SpeedFest was set, GFOS hadnt been announced. At least its not clashing with a GP this time.

GFOS and Glastonbury make it onto the TV. Set the recorder and come to Alford!

I would love to enter my car in the Alford SpeedFest14 event, but heard its invitation only, does anyone know how I could get an invite?

Just bought my 981 Cayman S that i thought would have been cool to show too - didn't know it was an invite only thing to show your car, but then i guess there is only a limited amount of space frown !

Hi guys

Unfortunately, space is limited (I think we ran 120 cars last year, with about another 70 or 80 in the static display paddock)

On the upside we do try to vary the entry every year, to keep things fresh, and it's always good to have a bigger pool of cars to choose from.

If you email your details to us at alfordspeedfest14@NOSPAMbtinternet.com (Taking out the crude anti blue pills and ripped abs email prevention bit) we'll put your details on file, and may well be in touch.

That goes for any owners of nice metal / carbon fibre from the whole of Scotland. (Or even further afield if you fancy the trip)

Cheers all

Nick

I have thoroughly enjoyed this event over the past few years and have displayed the DB6, 911 Targa and Vanquish S. The show has had its ups and downs with weather/marshalling issues but last year was excellent.

I look forward to it again this year.

I believe that for SF14 they are going to have the circuit controlled by MSA qualified marshals.

I don't think so as it is not a MSA run event.

Hi

It's not an MSA licenced event, it's run under the IOPD (International Organisation of Professional Drivers) regulations, but all of our marshalls will, I believe, be MSA registered.
