Edinburgh gym goers

Afternoon all,

Not sure if this is the right place, could prob go in health matters but I am in Edinburgh next week from Monday Pm until Thursday PM and looking for a gym to use on those 3 nights. Staying at the Premier Inn, Morrison Link, Haymarket and the closest gym seems to be the Virgin Active but you have to be a member, they 0do not accept 'walk ins'.
Does anyone use this and would i be able to use you to get in as i have to be with a member (still cost me £10). Otherwise can anyone recommend somewhere else close by that isn't astronomical in price to go nearby as i will be walking.

Pure Gym at Ocean Terminal, can get the bus there from Princes Street.

Council gym (Edinburgh leisure) probably 10-15 mins on a bus to the commonwealth pool or the dalry swim centre is close but fairly small.

Closest Pure Gym would be new one on Gorgie Road. 2 miles away

There would be a bus near to hotel I'm sure, but not sure which route.

There's also one at Quartermile if you're going to be near the Meadows for any reason,
