The Phantom Leg Puncher of Montrose?
Discussion
I understand the woman involved was Jewish American, and the bloke was Chinese. She actually started it by punching him first as the train passed over the Tay Bridge, shouting 'That's for Pearl Harbor'. He replied, 'Hey lady, I'm Chinese - that was the Japanese!'. She muttered 'Japanese, Chinese - it's all the same to me!'.
As she walked up the carriage as reported, he punched her shouting 'That's for the Titanic'. She replied 'But that was an iceberg'. As he left the train in Montrose he was heard muttering 'Iceberg, Goldberg - it's all the same to me!'.
Makes more sense when reported properly.

Did I not see it mentioned elsewhere that you were doing your "burning and drowning" refresher this week?
Very perceptive of you sir
It was yesterday, and thankfully did neither - seeing as they use disco-smoke nowadays, and the survival suits have so much buoyancy it's hard to stay under water in the HUET...

... Pearl Harbor ...
Did you know that there are nine US states with two words?- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New York
- West Virginia
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Rhode Island
- New Mexico
- Pearl Harbor
Now me, I would have said it was a natural inlet/bay/harbour to the west of Honolulu (just next to the airport actually)...on Oahu, with the STATE being Hawaii. At least it was both times I've been there

And if you want US State trivia, Hawaii is the most southerly state.
