central belt/west machine shops

Looking for a machine shop to do a lot of work to a v6, bore/hone/polishing crank/balanced rotating mass/skim heads etc. So far Agra is the only one that gets good recommendations but it's quite far away, I will have a further search but nothing on Google pops up(place in Kilmarnock but could be closed?)

I use a place called smiths based at shawhead Coatbridge

I use them for head skims and bores very good service

Come East a bit to the Falkirk area and you have Jem engines.
Specialise in Pinto race motors but I was well impressed with the workshop tour I was given without even asking. Clean tidy and all the big boys toys you could ask for.
I'll be going there for my block work.

Is it kilmarnock engine services you were thinking about? They were recommended to me for my TVR but never used them myself. How's the supercharger going ?

Thanks guys, I will have a phone about, seen Jen website but no reply from my email as of yet.
Ewan221, the car has been running great with the supercharger, drove it for 5months then put it off the road for winter. Unfortunately I have got it into my head that (360whp)430hp is not enough lol, so looking to build myself an engine for fun/experience and that will handle (480-500whp)god knows how much the parasitic losses will be! 600+??
Not in any rush, just buying parts and an semi working engine on the cheap. hope to have it finished end of the year.
