To my surprise, i managed to secure the services of Scott and his camera last night. He was down in Glasgow and contacted me at fairly short notice as he had a few hours available last night..... i jumped at the chance. I even manage to drive about late on Saturday night making sure that the places i thought were nice and dark, actually were.

It even stopped raining and we managed to get some good photos and locations in 2 1/2 hours. It was nice to get a wee blast in the RS as it's been tucked up in the garage for most of the winter. We only had one guy appear out of the darkness probably wondering what we were doing. I said hello and explained that we were taking some fancy shots of my car in the dark. He answered "that's good" and kept walking as he probably thought it was a chat up line.

Very interesting to see Scott work and most of the time in the past when you see free photoshoot posted up (Martyboy excluded), it's average work, you don't get the pictures or they want money!! From what i have seen with the pictures that he has already taken, i'm quite excited to see the outcome. He did not mention any money as he advertised this as a free shoot.... but he drove from Glasgow to meet me at my house, spent 2 1/2 hours taking photos and god knows how long he will take working on the pictures. Once i see the results Scott, then i would like to give you something (not man sex) for your time/fuel. I really appreciate you taking the time and leaving your girlfriend for 4 hours in Glasgow while you took snaps of my car.

Hopefully i won't get a visit from the police when the cctv would have seen us up beside the canal. Even worse if it makes the local paper...."Local Gym Owner Caught On CCTV With Another Man"

Thanks for the kind words Kenny, nice to meet you also. That's the problem with needing dark locations for light painting, its hard to tell where's dodgy and where isn't! Lovely RS4 btw, always had a soft spot for them and that's the first one I've ever been in! RAPID! Making me wish I'd not gone for the ST but for some V6 power instead.

Had a quick look at the images, all should be usable, so I'll start going through them and let you know how I get on. The red looks like its going to come out very well.

Hopefully I'll find that elusive GTR soon!

Cheers

Scott

Glad you liked the RS and it does go very well for a 12 year old estate car!!
I'm looking forward to the pictures and seeing how the colour turns out.
It's MISANO not red lol.
Really happy we managed to get the pictures done in the dry and it starting spitting just as we turned up towards my house.
