Overboard / fatality at Harding
Discussion
Not sure if more news on this has been released (if any) but this happened as we were sailing out from Peterhead and initial reports stated that 1 person recovered from the water and that all non essential personnel were flown off... Odd indeed. Heard later though that lifeboat maintenance figured in the accident and the Non Essential personnel were evacuated due to reduced lifeboat spaces.

I've no idea whether you're speculating or are/were on the platform, but either way that's pretty inappropriate.
Sorry. You quote me but remove the point your unhappy about???? That makes no sense to see what you think is inappropriate with the post I made.I've been on the platform many times before. I'm not disrespecting anyone on the platform or what has happened. Any loss of life is truly sad to hear about. I was only replying to previous post.
But as said "I heard" so that's rumours that have been past about. I have no idea if they are true but I posted to see if anyone else has heard.

The information that I put in the first part has been handed out and as been talked about via a town hall meeting on the platform I'm currently on. The rumour part was spoken about but in a correct way highlighting the procedures should not be skipped in the permit system as a reminder to people like many times your told as its better to say 1000 times that once.
So does that mean that all the recent news regarding a aircraft going missing is inappropriate to posted about. Because its not been properly investigated and all news channels are jumping on the band waggon at the start getting experts on to find out causes.
Its human nature to find out what happens and think what could have happened. The recent helicopter problems show how much the industry wants to hide certain information. But also at the same time instead of fixing the problem completely they apply a temporary fix.
But I'm not going to start an debate with yourself in this topic.
