You might get a better response by posting this in the scotland section.

Not in Edinburgh but how does bungee jumping off of an old crane sound? - Glasgow

There's also "lazerquest" in Falkirk

There's plenty places to do paintballing

Stag Do's are best off in Old Town, so areas like Grassmarket and around the Bridges area. New Town has some great places too but it isn't so accepting of large groups of men, that are likely half pissed by the time they reach the doors.

For a stagger? Start in the Grassmarket, then move up to 'the pubic triangle' (google it). wink

For more details best to post this in the Scottish forum.

Go to Glasgow and do a subcrawl then hehe

(You buy an all day subway ticket and visit the nearest pub/bar for every stop)

I'll stop suggesting stuff to do in Glasgow now laugh

Problem is Glasgow is murder to get in anywhere with a group of guys. A real no no.

Both Edinburgh and Glasgow are great nights out.

Edinburgh just head to the Grassmarket.

Head up to the Cowgate and get in the Brewdog bar. Try all the beers, or maybe organise a tasting session in advance?

I was out in Edinburgh a couple of weekends ago for a stag do, and my only advice would be to find a good bar/club and stick to it! Apparently being nothing more than tipsy is enough to refuse entry! Way way way stricter than aberdeen! We even split into pairs to stop them worrying about groups but still no joy!

The casinos are worse though, refused to all 3 casinos! I thought they wanted people to spend money and that ain't happening when we are sober?!?

I will point out that none of us were stumbling/staggering etc etc (the drink is too watered down for thatbiggrin)

For an activity during the day we headed out towards Perth and went white water rafting, would recommend that, was a good laugh! Only lasts about an hour though so bear that in mind!

By the way, the pubic triangle is more often referred to as the "hairy triangle" in Embra'

Again, that is a bit of a misnomer, as most of the girls are Brazilian

This is pretty much what we done a few weeks ago. Brothers stagger, went karting at xtreme (came 2nd, gutted!) then into town and hit the grassmarket. It seems to be fine with groups of lads as oppose to the snobby places on George street and rose street.

None of my locals in Edinburgh allow Stag or Hen groups in. Unfortunately the vast majority of them are not well behaved, particularly the Hen groups.
As previous replies say stick to the Grassmarket areas and you won't go far wrong.
