has anyone else experienced scam buyers i never realised they could go through paypal and still scam you

Yeah, they pay by PayPal, then take delivery of whatever you've sold, then claim it didn't arrive, lodge a claim and almost 100% of the time Ebay/PayPal will side with the buyer.
Moral of the story is, if you're selling anything of value, make sure a signature is required at delivery time, that way they can't claim it didn't arrive.

Never send anything without at least a signature confirming delivery, Ebay is so skewed in the buyers favour I'm surprised there's not lots more scammers. No way to tell either as you can't even leave negative feedback for a buyer who screws you over.
