Anyone know what's happening at Pitfichie today/tomorrow?

While out biking at Pitfichie recently I've seen signs advertising it being shut today and tomorrow (I'm sure it was 19th/20th). Anyway, the signs have had 'MSA' and 'Pirelli' on the bottom of them leading me to wonder if it was something motorsport related. Have done a bit of Googling but not been able to find an answer so just wondered if anyone had any more info. Will head to Bennachie for todays post work bike ride instead.

I was there last night and there was a sign saying something along the lines of a Rally at the weekend. Was a bit surprised to see a marquee up in the car park

Hope they don't trash the fireroads

You a mountain biker too? I always park at the bottom of the downhill course so I wouldn't have seen if the marquee was there on Tuesday when I was last out.

From my chat with the Moray and Aberdeenshire Forestry Commission manager at the Granite City Rally this year, I understand that the cost to events of using the tracks covers the repair of all tracks after the event so I expect any damage will be smoothed over again.

Scottish Rally Championship according to the above, but can't be. Pitfichie's been part of the Granite City Rally before but that was in April. Next SRC round is the Scottish Rally next month and that's in Dumfries.

I can't find anything either but it could be a private test day. Or it could be something else like Hill Rallying or suchlike.

Ah, missed that! Test then presumably as nothing advertised that I can see.

Can only see the motorsports being on the fireroads, comms from the forestry to the bike community arent historically great on that hill. I live and ride local to it, not seen any signs up either.
