I see these are going up.

Does anyone know if they can give you a ticket between each set of cameras or is it overall? I would think it's between each as that can catch folk who turn off. Thus you could lose your licence after 4 pairs of cameras.

Also will they be able to tell if you are towing a trailer?

What about being able to distinguish between single and dual carriageway.

I have been up and down the A9 a few times over the past couple of weeks and in fact I am in aviemore just one. The signs have said the cameras were under test then not in use and Saturday and today there were no signs.

I don't know what or how the authorities plan on enforcement. After Saturdays run I hope it is overall and not between each camera.

I'm confused at the locations.

I understood that as they were only going on the single carriageway sections, so assumed they would be sited at the starts and ends of these but that seems not to be the case from memory.

Going through these the other week as part of a short string of traffic, front car obviously reads "under test" signs then brakes from 60 down to 35mph at maximum retardation!!!!! Almost had 3 cars checking his exhaust bore. Madness I tell thee.

I believe they can issue tickets between individual sites as per the specs cameras heading from Glasgow to Ayr.

Scot gov were on the TV last week crawing how the cameras have already reduced speeds.

Yeah down to fking 40mph with increased Kamikaze overtaking, already.

No way is the A9 dueling going ahead, not with this demonstrated safety success & thats even before the cameras are operational....

Remember they have been installed even before they have been debated in our "parliament" ..

Considering only 2 sets work on the A77 they'd need to.
