Solan Tank passing Aberdeen this evening?

The massive subsea storage tank for Premier's Solan development is on its way and looks like it might just be visible from Aberdeen this evening.

I think I was once told that it has 70km of weld in it (aye, not passes, weld length).

I was working on this job last month. Hopefully will see the tank at some point next trip.

I wrote the OP at work (Schoolhill) when it was clear and sunny.

At home (Seaton), thick haar so litt;e chance of seeing anything I think.

We went down to the beach at about 1500 and it thick then too.
