Avoid this Bint! (Anniesland, Glasgow)
Discussion
Just a bit of a rant!
I dropped my wife off at work today and on the way there a young lass in a little white Corsa undertook me then cut me up, put it down to rush hour blues and got on with my journey. Turns out it looks like she works in the same hospital as my wife as I seen it tear round the hospital car park trying to get a space.
Anyhow.....
I'm just back from picking my wife up from work and had this f'n loon basically brake tests me by cutting me up! AGAIN!
Anyone who knows Great Western Rd will be aware it's full of part bus lanes during peak times, anyway, heading down towards Anniesland Cross 30 mph duel carriage way, left lane a bus lane with a taxi currently level with me I'm in the right lane with loony tune up my rse behind me.
(Just above the top tree in the middle is where the bus lane ends)

Nearing the end of the part bus lane I start to indicate to move over to the left lane, I allow the taxi just as the bus lane ends to pass ,check my side mirror, clear, so start to manouver over. Not that simple, I glance in the rear view mirror to discover numpty features has moved over at the same time as me as well as accelerating hard trying to do an undertaking manouver! She beeps her horn and I wave my hand about and shout like she can here me "WHAT THE f
k ARE YOU DOING?!?!"
Obviously her next bright idea is to accelerate loudly (not fast, 1.2 "Shte Edition Corsa doesn't do fast) past in the right lane, doesn't even acknowledge me, then fires her shtebox straight in front of my car, horn and brake applied, though not in that order!! Well, at least she indicated this time, well she did, but it half way through her stunt manouver!
After that, all she did was sit up the next persons rse, I had the joys of having to follow her down a few other roads as I was dropping the wife off elsewhere and the silly moo just sat up the rse of every car that got in her way!
Anyway, glad that's off my chest and it's time for dinner and a beer!
Oh....
Bint in question!!

If anyone thinks I'm being harsh or if they think I'm in the wrong (someone will, no doubt) please feel free to let me know and I'll have a laugh!

pd2, the reality is there are now thousands of deluded idiots like this behind the wheel and the police do nothing about it. Current policies are about speeders doing 65 on the M74; obviously highly dangerous.
I don't know what the answer is but it's getting really serious out there.

I lost an insurance claim after colliding with a car undertaking at the end of a bus lane. The insurance opinion was that the car was established in that lane so had right of way. I'm not sure I totally agree with that, but it seems those in the 'process' of crossing to another lane need to give way.
That's interesting - I nearly had a similar accident, coming off the M74 southbound at Strathclyde Park in rush hour.
I was in inside lane which then eventually becomes the inside lane of the slip but due to the queuing traffic someone had decided to skip down using the hard shoulder.
Now the difference here was that the hard shoulder stopped when the inside lane takes its place but in a similar scenario would insurance company claim that other party was established in lane?

Saw one of those white Corsa Limited Editions sitting in a field on it's roof on Saturday morning?
I took one as a trade in on my last car and haven't used it. Cant believe how slow it is. Funnily enough I am selling it now and looked at current prices online - so many of them have been crashed!jith said:

Take solice in the fact, she will do it to the wrong person one day, especially in Glasgow!I don't know what the answer is but it's getting really serious out there.

I've heard a few times of people driving like idiots and doing it to the wrong person who gets out their car the next red light and "expresses their displeasure a the manner of their driving" right into their face a few times.
Or, if she works at the hospital, go have a word with her work about the manner of her driving and the irony that she drives like that and works in a hosptial. Presumably at some point she's had to deal with an RTI and seen the devesation driving like that can cause. Flyig round a hosptial car park where sick/injured people will be is not sensible, professional or morale in any way.
Personally, I hope it's option one.
