Evening all,

The suspension on my 2010 MX-5 needs some fettling. I'm looking for a garage to carry out a 4 wheel alignment and also replace the front lower wishbones.

I live in Dunfermline so somewhere in East central belt would be great.

Any recommendations greatly received.

Thanks in advance.

Sean at Robertson Autocare on Townhill Road would be worth having a chat with.

A little bit to the West, but I can highly recommend Pro-Grip in Larbert.

I have used John several times and his work has always been excellent.

Thanks. I've also heard good things about Pro-Grip. I'll give them a call.

Always puzzles me why some call it the Central Belt, when the Centre of Scotland is actually closer to Inverness than it is to Perth! biglaugh

According to Ordnance Survey at least. wink

Just like the 'midlands' being somewhere around Birmingham, does my head in...

The actual middle of Britain being somewhere around Hexham/A69

We're veering off topic here... but Central Belt, so called as it's the low lying belt of ground in the centre of the higher stuff that lies to the north and the south? I never thought anything of that and I've been here for a long time. It's not the centre of Scotland, doesn't claim to be either. And the Midlands, I assumed it was the bit between London and the south, and the northern bits of England... as in, in the middle of each. If it's not the north or the south?

Fife Autocentre in Glenrothes. Always do a good job and have made some of the utter dross i have owned over the years handle far better than they did when i bought them smile Some of the stuff you will see in there and parked outside would also suggest they know what they are doing.
