Just encountered a vintage tractor flying flags and towing a trailer at 15mph on the A68. Large sticker on the back saying "NC500 Tractor Tour 2026". That's going to make them popular.

Likely to be no worse than all the spangles in motor homes driving at about the same speed, with no perception whatsoever of the caravan of 300 vehicles they have behind them....

Ahhh, I passed it parked up in a layby on the A977 just north of Kincardine on Monday morning. Doesn't seem to be much about it online? But Google reckons the trip could take several weeks.

Right up there with the guy on the stand up jet ski I saw at Peasebay a couple of weeks back... doing a circumnavigation of the UK, started from Tower Bridge. Seemingly just south of Mallaig at the moment.

And here's my thinking my daughter's 1 miles walk with the Rainbows last week was a shift...

Motorhomers take note. A tractor using a layby for (one of) what laybys and passing places are meant for. Letting traffic behind you pass.... And just for clarity, laybys and passing places are not meant for emptying of motorhome toilets into.... yuck
