Does anyone know what happened to the Grampian Mg Centre, which was in Laurencekirk in the 80s 90s?
I remember taking my Corvette there when the owner was thinking about buying one, and slso bought a BGT from there.

At that timescale the owner is at least retired or passed away.

It may still be there just under a different name/brand as that version of MG no longer exists since Rover went bust.

I don't know about that.

The Austin dealer in the 1970s at Kirriemuir stayed in the trade and is still around now, albeit pushing 80.

And not in Kirrie or doing Austin either biggrin

Isn't John Clark (the individual) still active as well?

The owner bought a metallic blue Corvette with blue interior, im sure he worked for Chevron, i worked offshore then. He bought my Lotus Europa from me. I'm just wondering what happened to them.

It’s been gone a long time! My mates dad used to work for them, he’s been gone a few years now.

Thanks for that, was starting to doubt myself. I remember driving down to to it and it was on the right. As you say it was a long time ago.

It’s an interesting building, I’m not sure if it was originally build as a garage but it looks like it was, it was a petrol station aswell at one point.

He must be in his 80's too, his daughter was in my year at Gordon's.

He’ll be 80 next year.

He was at The Rhynd in June, in his 365 GTC/4.
