As the title states, where can I go (preferably within the city) to get my air-conditioning recharged? As usual, Kwik-fit will do it but I would rather take it somewhere else.

Does anyone know of any reputable places and approximate prices?

Thanks

I used Taylors Auto Electrical on the Lang Stracht in Aberdeen recently for a 996 C4 and they were superb. I needed a condensor too which they supplied and fitted as well as a full healthcheck for the system and re-gas.

Google them for details

I used taylors a couple of years ago for my Hilux, as it needed a special gas, they were good and replaced a leaky seal too.

I have been looking into this too, I was just going to go to Kwik Fit since I thought to myself, how can they get refilling AC gas wrong?

PLUS they do a money back guarantee if your air isn't 10% cooler! The plus side of this is when they refill the Megane, it trips a safety valve that won't reset until you pay a dealer £20, so I will get my regassing fee back and only have to pay £20..!

Wheeler dealer or what!! smile
