Hi all
I’ve just bought a master and slave clutch cylinder for my sons 390
Unfortunately the thread for the unions are different from the existing
As I don’t know my bsp from my unf I’ve no idea what thread is in each so that I can try and find an adapter- could anyone enlighten me or perhaps point me toward an adapter please
Many thanks
Ron

I did a big thread on here (pardon the pun!) researching this, it will be referenced from the FAQ (see above).

If your's has been plumbed in the way Wendy's is then I would suggest renewing the pipework with a braided hose along a more direct route and sleeved in a 'heatsock'.

Looks promising but quite expensive for what it is,

https://www.lrdirect.com/139082-Adaptor-Master-Cyl...

£2.50 for the same thing - if you are ordering other stuff.

Thanks guys I’ll give the adapters a try
In response to why I didn’t rebuild the existing is that it was about £25 to buy the Master and slave brand new
Thanks to all

Once you have the adapters for the LR ones you are done - replacement cylinders are 6 quid each.
