Just because it could be said that some TVR owners are ………

Loud
Thirsty / Drinks a lot
Smelly
Temperamental
At times unreliable
Body work in need of attention
Chassis / Skeleton sometimes fragile
Requiring regular maintenance
Can be made to look nice with a bit of care and attention and elbow grease.

Don't really know how such a comparison could be made

In a few years your car wont need an MOT. Currently its before 1st Jan 1980.

For peace of mind I will continue to put mine through an MOT. There have been occasions when they've picked something up that I hadn't noticed.

I'll probably go down the annual service MOT route.
Trusted local guy will give it a thorough once over each year ........ it will give me piece of mind.
