oil change

hi,

i would like to give the engine oil a good clean out,
i was going to use a engine flush,would it be ok to do on a old engine like mine 350i 3.5l 1987,

well i did it to my rover vitesse everytime i changed the oil and never had any probs

Don't forget to re-prime the oil pump.
