been today.......did put some injector cleaner in and she's singing (extra 50 BHP don't you know? ) . Roof is looking nice ,window channels secured on passenger side.....found out my metallic ringing IS the alternator....still kicking out 14.2 Volts at moment though.....took scenic roads via tunnels and narrow steets.....that is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun......My 400SE ,or 'Wendy Wedge' as my daughter has now christened her is ,basically, party time on wheels....why can't all cars be this much fun or sound this great?????

she is not tatty now........just pure filthy & rude, the kinda of car you can't take home to meet mum

me too, my god these cars are so much fun in the summer, shite in the winter though.... enjoy while you can. every summer i forgive my car for all its negativity and fall in love all over again, but come the winter i want to donate it to charity and get a sensible car...but hey we still have at least 6 months of roof down weather to go and so far weekends and bank holidays have been sunny...

forgot to mention .....the popping and crackling from the exhaust on the overrun was reminiscent of a Tornado aircraft on full afterburner.....

Don't agree with the 'shite in winter bit'. Take your car out on a crisp winter's day and it's gggggreat! Try a little burn on some damp roads just after Christmas - that'll sharpen you up!
