Fuel Pressure Regulators [can't see 'rising rate' in there]
The rising rate pressure regulator is the PBV (power boost valve)
Got one on the 350i and am very tempted to take it off and fit to the SEAC.
Anybody tried it on the larger engines?

I have one on the 400SE .. awsome difference

Any experts want to give some advise on these?
They replace the standard fixed pressure regulator with one that is able to increase the fuel pressure on demand (vacuum pipe connected to inlet manifold(I believe))
Umm Peninsula set mine up on a rolling road to overcome some fueling problems previously. the net result was max fuel at max revvs. the only problem with this was when you shutoff quickly, and carry the revvs on the over-run, you can get some "interesting" pyrotechnics out the exhaust

Chaps - due to "force majour" had to fit a new regulator to the 420 SEAC - TVR retailers wanted £160+ for the standard affair so after a chat to the FSE boys fitted the rising rate one to the SEAC.
Result - overfueling which causes rough running and a nice eau de CO after you've stood in traffic for a bit. It does however make for interesting pop's bangs and flames! Moral of the storey - get the car tuned either instead of the variable flow rate valve(i.e. if Mark Adams he can tweak the fuel anyway) or as well so the tune can get the correct AFR. In my case I have been trying to do a deal for a Vitesse twin plenum (with 45mm trumpet base) (PX for a SEAC spoiler) which when fitted can be tuned. More air, more fuel and stage 4 heads - yeeha!
