What is the bush that sits on the front anti roll bar from there are two near each end and one has fallen off again. so my car squeeks every time i turn left.... i know they are ford as i can see a ford sticker on it.. my car is an 85 280i Many thanks..

Cortina. There are two int. dia.s and you need the larger although I suspect that you need the bracket which is also Cortina (and of course the same for both bushes.) Whilst you're at it why not fit some uprated bushes?

Just re-read your post. I've described the ARB to chassis bushes and brackets. Do you mean the drop link? The Superflex link would seem to be your answer either way.

they are definately the anti roll bar bushes...are all the cortina ones the same.. there is one at each end.

It is unusual for the 2 ARB to chassis bushes to 'fall off'.
They are a split bushes (2 in total) held in place by a clamp with a single screw. It is common for these clamps to come loose which allows the bush and roll bar to move. Suggest you check clamps are in position and tight.
I think these are all Cortina parts but there are at least 2 diameters of roll bar - you need the correct sized bush.
Not sure if bushes are available from Ford - perhaps TVR factory and certainly Superflex.

All replies assume you have a car with the roll bar in front of the suspension - some early cars had the ARB to the rear of the wishbones.

Thanks for your help it is definately in front of steering both were off when i bought the car 2 years ago and i replaced with standard ford, one has fallaen off since. agrea that superflex is probably the way forward, Thankyou very much for your help
