Last year or so i replaced the entire rear mechanicals on my wedge, inc Bushes got these from RT Racing, Now the problem is in the summer they seem to dry up and squeek when i go down the road(NOT GOOD) i have tried to put WD40 and the like on them to no availe, now i have been told this is not good for them. But how can i stop them squeekin without taking them off.

They are polybushes i think whatever that means

My freinds cerbera does it as well

When fitting them use talcum powder on the outer diameter and copperslip for steel sleeve to bolt also don't torque them up until the car is flat on the ground / on its wheels.

Try silicone spray lubricant, doesn't evaporate like DWF. Works well on window channels as well.

They are supposed to be sulf lubricating so assuming that they were fitted correctly just drive your car more!

Well, anybody can make a mistake. BUT: I had a chat to Richard about ten years ago about changing bushes and he was both knowledgeable and had some experience. Now he's got another ten years knowledge and experience and he changes a LOT of bushes. I think its worth having a chat to Richard but it does sound to me like your car just needs to be driven.

I love RT as a bloke and i think he is probably one of the most knowledgable people out there, BUT he took about 6 months to fix my car (summertime) let me down continuasly regarding ETA, and i once spoke to one of his mechanics when RT was having a day off and he told me TVRs were sh1t and broke down alot and i just got the impresion that they were a bit cowboy like, i have never been there personaly but i will probably use topcats from now on as they just seem to care more... while my car was at RT he assured me it was indoors as my roof leaks a bit (dont they all). when i finnaly got it back it was filthy, oily seats and i do mean oily the rear bumper looked like it had a knock and it broke down with the same problem within 3 miles. I then found out it would cost another £800 to put write. I am sure Rt is a lovely chap but i would not let his mechanics fix my daughters Barbi bike...No offence Richard
