All,

I have send everyone an email but just in case you don't have / don't use email then details are below :

Many have asked if we are going to have a "BBWF event shirt" - so details are below.

A few of us met up and decided on a design :

Colour - Yellow (as the most famous wedge (factory SEAC racer is yellow) and we want to stand out..)

Make : Jersees 65/35 (175gsm)

Front left breast TVR logo
and "Big Bad Wedge Fest - 2004"
* Each arm BBWF *

Christian Name,
Pistonheads handle
and car model on Right Hand Brest

We think it's important to have a name on the shirt - as it makes us all easy to identify.

The alternative was and is name badges.

If partners don't have a pistonheads handle then we can omit that. Could we also keep the
model simple too (i.e 350i and not TVR Tasmin convertible 350i mk1).

OK - I guess you are all waiting for the price : £12:00 each FOR SIZE XXL add £ 0.75 per garment

We don't have much time to get this all completed before BBWF - so you need to decide how many shirts you want,
the sizes and what you want on the Right hand Brest.

I will also need payment :

Contact details on email !
(phone : 01992 448145 - if you want to discuss details).

or contact me for e-banking details.

Could I ask that you are fairly prompt with this - as time is getting short ....

All the best.

Alan.

Yay! Me and the fiancee will get noticed in our yellow t-shirts and my "little" wedge

Will be ordering two from you Alan, but my outlook express is not playing ball at the moment (nor for that matter is internet explorer) so I may have to phone you instead. What's the best time to get hold of you?

By the way the fiancee has joined PH as Mrs TVR-NUT

Funny and emotive thing colour :

Black - too hot in the sun
White - too plain
yellow - attracts insects (mainly in France..)
Green - if at a garden centre - people assume you work there !
Red / Blue - can run and ruin other cloths in the wash
Grey - too dull.

We choose yellow - as it's bright and stand out.

We did not buy the loudest cars on earth to be quite shrinking violet types..

Re : posting shirts to you .. yes I can do .. but only if we get them back in time.

If anyone wants me to send the shirt to them - add a seperate cheque for £2.50 per shirt. If I can't get them to you in time - I can give you the cheque back !

Must admit - it would look great if some of you customised they like Stainless did with his Gang on the Green shirt last year ..

Alan - why not set yourself up to use PayPal or NOCHEX or FastPay (NW Bank), then people can pay you online. Small additional charge you would need to levy to cover fees - Streaky

Wow! I've been trying to reply to this for ages! Probs with comp.

Nice colour Alan - black lettering no doubt - will go with my car!

Can't help thinking that is just too much info on the shirt though. I always thought the simpler original idea of BBWF in big letters on the back with callsign on left or right breast at front would be just right.

If we just have big letters BBWF on the back peeps will ask us about it whenever we wear the shirt - and we can tell 'em!

I might posibly like the BBWF flashes on each sleeve though.

I'll give it a little thought.

Is it possible to order a simpler version?

FF You can always add your own detail to the back of the shirt to stimulate questions but we had to come up with a (hopefully) acceptable design fairly quickly. Due to the numbers involved and the sheer task Alan has of co-ordinating this, it needs to be kept simple.

Even if people read BBWF 2004 next to a TVR logo they're still gonna want to know what it was

Shirt size conversion :-

XS = 34" Chest
S = 36"
M = 38- 40"
L = 42"
XL= 44"
XXL = 46-48"
XXXL= 50- 52"
XXXXL = 54 - 56"

Hope that helps anyone who does not know their size.
