Agree with Dickymint - I hope he gets his money and perhaps the Wedge price trend will be upwards!
All the cars I've ever looked at seemed good in the pictures and the owners said excellent condition but reality was often (not always) a bit different - IMHO. Value here is 430 rarity and the certified last car - what's that worth? - quite a bit!
Was the 430 engine the Griff unit or a tweak on the 420 SEAC lump? Probably the former.

Nice car, I think this was for sale at David Geralds over a year ago, if its the same car the owner hasn't kept it for long!

I remember phoning DG's about that one last year when I was looking, if it is the same one, it certainly wasn't this price a year ago. Sub 12K I think??

Hope he gets his price!

I think this was the 430 SE for sale at DG last year. If I remember correctly Classic and Sports Car Mag featured it in one of the 'one you can buy' articles and they were very positive about it.

Very nice, you wedgie lot will be able to confirm this, but didn't they only make 5 430's making it posssibly the rarest of the rare.

Harry

now if only I could take that nice 4.3 lump out and put it in the V8S

Don't believe it, it's the 430 SE I spotted in Banbury a few months ago - it is better than the photos suggest.. The car used to belong to Graham of TVRCC Berkshire region : hope it makes it to BBWF!
