Poxy weather.

Anybody else pissed off with this poxy weather, car done about 50 miles in car in last 3 weeks, lets all pray for good weather this Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Rev-erend & Father Ted get busy praying.

PS. Hope polo shirts are colour fast, or we'll all look Jaundice on Monday.

Yep Martin I'm pretty peed off with this weather too. Not been out much in the wedge myself either Wants to hurry up and be dry for a while one morning this week, as I've got to wash her and give her a bit of tlc before Saturday morning...

What do they know about weather, judging by there forecasting not a F lot. We must have a mass praying session on Friday 10.30 I think. or we'll have to have the & inside. As you can tell the excitment is getting to me and its sunny in Kent today so time to skive off work this afternoon and go for a blast:

Well it had better not rain - don't know if the wipers are going to be fixed, not happy about trundling down the back roads without any! anyone got a spare wedge they want me to take just in case

What's all this about the weather wedges are all weather cars!! I'm using mine daily with roof down on way to work, roof up in car park and then roof down on way home. and any if it rains it still a bit ryer than the bike as the Omega is stil of the road !

Seamus: give Rain-X a try. I drove 100 miles in the rain without wipers once I'd used that stuff!

True! All the weather ends up inside them ... regardless of whether (no pun intended!) the roof is on and/or the windows are shut. Weather-tight they're not! Or at least mine isn't - Streaky

Thankfully weather tight mine is - at the moment at least. Should find out today if the wipers are fixed, not worried about a bit of rain otherwise - use the car with the roof down irrespective of weather as all TVR drivers should (it's in the manual ), just worried about poor visibility and careering off the road/into something.. having just got the car spot on it would be disastrous.. but will certainly give rain-x a try if all else fails - it's just when I mentioned this to the garage in the event they couldn't get the wipers fixed in time the guys face was incredibly like this =

RainX is fantastic,i use it on the SEAC.The other week it was raining heavy,got up to speeds of over 130 (on private land )didn't need to use the wipers.In slow traffic under 30 you might have to use them now and then.
Talking about rain the SO3s are bloody great Going round corners alot faster than i thought it would exelent grip,who cares if they don't last 4,000 miles

I can vouch for RainX I also like the 'hyperspace' look of the rain under any sort of speed on the screen.

Or is it just me thats odd??.

Weather PA..! - thanks to the boys at V8 Centre I now have wipers again - hoorah.. Turned out to be the switch on the wiper motor. Thanks to Perry & Sam for pushing the job through for the BBWF. There'll be a waiting for you

I was thinking of sticking blue lights and a siren in the air intake to clear the way - just in case.. although I would think the thunderous roar of a load of wedges will do that anyway

Perry will be meeting us up at Wyc 6 in a chimaera which he managed to get for the weekend (no other wedges were available as they've all got something planned )
