but enough of my medical history and terrible line in puns and jokes.
On Saturday, while I was majestically erect on the back of the truck (for which added height, many thanks) taking the photos, someone was kind enough to hand me up a brown camera bag.
Did that person (or anyone else) recall seeing a green bag (slightly larger) which I had put down just off the grass near to the brown bag?
It contained a number of photographic (that's PHOTOGRAPHIC before anyone comments on my poor spelling
) items and was not unloaded from the car on my return home. I've only just noticed it's absence as SWMBO unloaded the car on Saturday night while I dashed upstairs for a shower and quick change into dicky-suit (that's DICKY-SUIT, not "dickymint", BTW) and I've just got around to sorting out and putting away all my kit.
I'll be contacting the hotel to see whether someone has handed it in, otherwise it's a call to the insurers and fingers crossed.
