After I get the wedge back from he garage after Saturdays fiasco on the way to BBWF it would only run for a second or two after filling up with fuel it turns out to be the immobiliser affecting the ignition relay, garage electrian says theres more wires than on a jumbo jet under the dash. The question is we are moving to South Lincolnshire in a couple of weeks time............Am i going to be the only Wedger out there or is there anybody else to blast round them cabbage fields with?

Come and have a natter with the East Mids TVRCC if you like! Second sunday of the month, details on the website. Over 25 TVR's in convoy last time, including 2 wedges. If you make the next one, at the Fox and Hounds, Exton near Rutlandwater, the bloke in the BBWF T-shirt will be me.

Ah - I think I met you at BBWF. It's your wedge I'm passing sitting in the forecourt of said Midlands garage, I think. You should charge them a fee - it's by far the best looking car there! Funnily enough I had the same reaction to the electrics in my wedge when I took it there. Good luck with the repairs.

Not surprising - it was a fixed head 280i in far from great condition (green mold around the window seals, general air of neglect, that type of thing) and they had it up for over £5,000.

Still, glad you have yours sorted. Good luck in Lincolnshire, and watch out for those tractors on the country lanes!

And I thought I was the only one in this dogsbottom of the universe. I'm about halfway and down a bit between Kings Lynn and Swaffam. Could be a case for an informal "Fenland" wedge gathering as I dont think I could be further from an owners club region if I tried!

Sounds like a plan ! Will be eager for a run out as mi engines is currently being rebuilt due to being a 350 running on only six but then shes covered some miles. Soon as shes back i'll put up a message. Thats assuming I don't have no trubs with the MOT!
