Wedge-aware mechanic in Newbury?

Hello

My 350i is poorly and needs towing to a mechanic for some work (and an MOT). Nothing too serious - a new starter motor probably, and some welding for the MOT.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Newbury area who can do this? I don't live there, but I happened to be visiting my parents when the car died. The breakdown people would just take it anywhere, so I thought I'd check with you guys for somewhere decent.

Can't speak for Newbury, but I use Frog Island 4x4 in Didcot (15 miles north). They are very knowledgeable about the V8 and I'm told they wield a good welder. They are also very helpful!
