Anybody fancy a blast to the Griff Growl?

Aw, don't knock the wedges ![]()
The BBWF was totally free for anyone who wanted to attend. Accommodation (optional) BBQ (optional) but anyone was welcome to turn up (and did).
FUN (free), LOUD (free) BAD (very). Unfortunately we got no publicity apart from PH and Wedgepages. TVRCC would only support if it was open to all models. However, great to see the Chims and Griffs that joined us.
In my opinion the single model events are the way to go, with one annual great big marque gathering. The club should support the members.
PS: If I had a griff I'd be at the GG too !! Same goes for an 'S'
PPS - from ex Chimaera owner and if they have the tea party - we'll be there.
All us Wedgers wish you Good luck with "the GROWL" - can 100 of us come?![]()

Hi mrmaggit,
thanks for the tip have viewed the site but cannot find any timetable/itinery any idea of times etc?
Also whats all this about paying £15.00, who to, when and what for exactly?
I would love to come along as we are only 30 miles from Gaydon and am suffering withdrawl symptoms after the BBWF weekend.
Off to David Geralds tomorrow for inquiry into brake improvements and probable service anyone used them before be interested in reputation I believe it is very good?

The £15 is payable to TVRCC (it's a TVRCC backed event), the booking form is in Sprint, but also downloadeable if you follow the links in the Growl thread. It gets you reserved parking, souvenir, free entry to the Museum. Most of the long distance attendees are staying at the Ashwell Hotel (details on thread), so you can always turn up for a beer there too.

Sounds like a politicians answer. What is the £15 for? If we compare it to the BBWF: reserved parking - free, souvenir - free DVD, hotel, beer, and most car enthusiasts have seen the museum too many times. It's always bugged me that the car club charge for the factory tour - provided free by TVR.
