The number on the TVR parts list for fan is for the aternator fan and is a lucas number (54216148)
I need a number for the Fan Clutch. Although the V6 is a metric engine Ford started using inch ancillary parts on it. So the usual methods of soucing parts is more difficult. The bronco II has the later water pump similar to the Explorer with a 1.25 inch thread.
The Mercury Capri circa '76 has the right size bolt on the front of the water pump but was fitted with an electric fan.
I tried going the other route - starting with the thread size (and offset) and turned up one that someone could get that cost $460.00 ! A typical clutch fan is around $70.00 here so I'm not sure what that one was!
Anyone changed theirs.

I put an electric one on (1,100 cfm) after removing my old clutch fan.
1,100 cfm doesn't do the job if left idling or in traffic. OK when driving. Size of an electric fan is restricted because of the waterpump bolt/shaft.
I'll try the team blitz route, may consider staying with electric. Grady, what fans do you have on yours?

Jeff, I've got the radiator in the nose and and two electric pullers. I can't tell you the CFM off hand but can look when I get home and see if I have a receipt - they came on the car.
They seem to work fine in the Texas heat - I did have a few posts about an apparent overheating problem but after changing the thermostat and water pump it turned out to be a bad temperature sender (which had tested fine out of the car).
How new is your radiator? It might need to be degunked too.

My car is a series 1.5, I think it would be a lot of work (and in a damn awkward place) to convert to the more forward sloping rad. The rad was checked at my friends rad shop, flow was good.
I've given a lot of thought about going back to a clutch fan, I think it's a better solution considering the alt load is constant with electric, but the clutch fans main load is only at idle, with little load when driving. Although the main consideration is cooling whilst not moving.
