Anyone know if the rubber base for front springs (must be Mk4/5 cortina I imagine) and the little rubber bits that clip onto the top spring coil are available- or even needed ? I found I had a bust front spring while on a training (!) day at Prescott last week, so now have the front end in bits, and these rubbers look dog eared !Prescott was really good, walked up the hill, convoy runs then 8+ runs ,videoed to show how you go wrong, lunch etc, v.high quality instructors (Roy Lane...a very, very fast man up hills..was one) all for £170.Great,all sorts of cars 30/98s to a modern Ferrari and an A55 Pickup !!!

Yes Cortina 1V/V - however factory have none, neither have Ford and RT out of stock - quote "will be some time before they are back in stock"

I've just put my tired ones back in. Can't see that they do anything vital but the spring may squeek a bit without them.
How about putting a layer of silicon under the spring and against inner locating ledge.
