Looking for a 400SE Speedo cable...

Hi All ....
Looking for some help in finding a replacement speedo cable for my 400SE. I know that Speedy cables can copy one but I am after a replacement if anyone knows of a source? Cheers Jack (N. Kent)

I had the same cable go about 3 weeks ago, Try Gatwick TVR, spares 01293 822611 (he got my speedo cable 3 weeks ago)
The gearbox end is fitted with a male square fitting that goe's into the gearbox drive, don't throw that away as the new cable will not have it on and you cannot get them, (You have to cut the cable close to the fitting and then carefully drill out the old cable from the fitting, Araldite the new cable onto the fitting.

didnt have that problem with mine ... remove old cable, replace with new ... drive .....

Thanks all will do some ringing round on Monday. Different subject anyone know where I can source a clutch slave cylinder piston rubber . the SE400 one has started to dribble. Tried Rover, no joy even for a replacement cylinder! Girling cannot help me iether any leads out there??

Austec Racing in Crawley replaced mine about 4 weeks ago, talk to mike or Paul, advert on PH.
