Looking around my tvr I wonder just how difficult would it be to remove the body? There would be a lot of removing pipes and fuel lines in engine bay, handbrake cable etc..How difficult is it realistically?Time wise

You will need 4 people to lift it once you have emptied it out and removed the doors. Must be the heaviest TVR body there is.I know the fibreglass is a good 3/4" thick in places.

Hi, take a look at www.geocities.com/tvr_tasmin_1980 ok its a blatent plug for my website and its for a series 1 FHC but it may give you a few clues...oh and if you take the doors off, put something in their place...ie a length of box section with mounting brackets at each end, it may be me being paranoid, but i've visions of the body/transmission tunnel snapping in half around the door...

Regards
Iain

I finished uni and started work, hence have no time on my hands to complete the site, am looking to get a domain and do it properly someday instead of being on the arese end of geocities.
