after 5 month of runing a wedge with small problems, today after a week sat in the garage. The battery has died.

i have rang around trying to identify what battery it is but only found contradiction.

In the owners book it says 60 amp hours. one supplier said his book says 80 amp hours.

on the net I have found Lucus BAT059 which is unknown to supplier. I have also found unipart GBY015.

which one do i try to buy?

IMHO get the largest amp/hour you can find that fits.

thanks chaps.

It dient get any clearer. The battery had a night on charge and she started perfectly this morning.

I headed down to the local Lucus center, They had TVR listed which was a bonus. But more contradiction. The 280 had a 40 amp hour one listed and the 350 the 60 amp hour listed.

I bought the 60 amp hour one. It was only £22 all in. and it is smaller than the one fitted.

Just another mind field.
