I know you will all be over the moon to see I can now once again post messages on the Wedge pages - OK, so there are some of you who thought you'd seen the last of me!

Either some tinkering with the computer finally worked or the recent storms here had an effect! But I now seem to have most computer functions back.

There is little I can add to the debate regarding my car at this moment - I think we have been through it all in previous threads. I am however hoping for some further information in due course.

cheers!
JJ

Cheers Dicky - I did look around for you on the Sunday of BBWF but got press-ganged into a run out to Bourton-on-the Water with Rev and dp400SE and Stever- thought you might join us.

Got your toot as you went past the pub on the Monday - shame we couldn't get together as intended. I stayed for another day or so and did a few touristy things like vist Gaydon.

Hectic drive back across country through endless traffic jams and along the new A120 where everyone seemed to be doing 110 mph with no speed cameras - is it still like this?

Even if there are speed cameras now, some of the Southern contingent can now travel with ease along this new road to meet up for a S.E. gathering over at Great Tey!

Hi Steve -

Did feel like staying longer in the area in fact!

Good run out to Bourton-on-the-Water; the cars looked and sounded good as they came through the village - me and the girls thought you were going to do a 'fly past' but you all stopped!

Found an old favourite place of mine after you all left - Lord of The Manor Hotel at Lower Slaughter - only £4 for a bottle (single bottle) of Stella! Hic!

Hi JJ, yeah that was my fault we stopped, didn't understand the destructions

Fond memories of Lower Slaughter, the missus and I spent our wedding night at Lower Slaughter Manor (14 years ago) which was a fantastic place enhanced by the fact that we arrived in a hired for the weekend Testarossa. Can't really say what was better, the car or the wedding night..... although on reflection the Testarossa takes it.

Remember the wife had a 'good' glass of port after dinner - £15 on the bill

Mmmm -

Lower Slaughter Manor. Beautiful House! One on my list to do.

Must find a lady as pretty as your missus to take with me!

Two glasses of port surely? Quinto Noval 1948?

Burbling around those lanes just confirmed these cars are as pleasant just bumbling along as frenetically blasting about.
