Has anybody come up with a better solution for the oil-pressure gauge line from the block? Mine has now blown three times over the last several years. Is there a braided replacement for the hard plastic line?
The later ones used an electronic unit so no oil pipes to blow.
Could you not encase the pipe in a rubber sleeve (larger bore water pipe hose ? ) for a bit more protection ?
I seem to remember previous vehicles of mine having a copper(?)oil feed to gauge.
