I am trying to waterproof the hood on my 350. So far I have cleaned the fabric and srayed a full can of Fabsill (the stuff you buy in a camping shop to proof tents with) over it and rubbed it in and allowed it to dry. But water is still absorbed into the fabric rather than beading off it.
Does it just need another can spraying over it or am I doing something wrong??
All suggestions gratefully recieved.

Absolutely - and if you use the full kit it makes the hood look like new as well - saved me a few hundred quid!
