Copied from the TVRCC forum...............

Well, appear in this Christmas's Jeremy Clarkson DVD actually.

I am looking for 4 TVRs that Jeremy intends to compare with the Sagaris:

1. 350i, 390SE or 400SE

2. 420 or 450SEAC (the louder the better!)

3. V8S

4. Pre-cat Griffith (preferably a 4.3/4.5 big valve).

I might also persuade him to include a road-going Tuscan racer if anyone has one with the Rover V8 engine fitted.

Filming will be done on Wed 1 Sep at Dunsfold aerodrome near Godalming. I have been assured that the cars will be used for straight line acceleration runs up the runway only and not damaged in any way. They will be fully insured by the production company whilst filming takes place. Anyone interested, please email me at public-relations@tvrcc.com or call 01202 571327.

Was tempted but i think the SEAC is down on a few horses at the moment and wouldn't do the marque justice. but then again if the insurance covered a total rebuild
COME ON STAINLESS YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!
SHPUB Can you beat a saggyass?
And what about the 350 turbo at BBWF?
Tallbloke get that engine fitted!

It may well be fun but........

Do you want your clutch cooked and your transmission twisted?

Think of that Jag 'C' Type they had a while back.

There was a supercharged 350 at BBWF, not sure if you meant that one.

I'll be fitting the LPG conversion first, then the turbo this winter.

If Clarkson and his producer treat private car owners the way they treat their television audience - badly: no seats, hours on their feet, cold, drafty hanger, make a public fool of them, keep them in the shadows hered like cattle, not allowed to touch the cars, applaud on cue, token gesture at programme participation ... no thanks.

Thats the same as other TV programs though .. Speed Sunday was the same. To them, you are just additional props

Great stuff.
unfortunatly, KerryAnn is working, and will not beable to get the day off work, so my father has kindly offered to take her place ...

If your comming from Wales, and passing Newbury, I guess you will be aiming for Basingstoke (A339), and then on to Farnborough / Guildford. I can meetup en route.... How about a group meetup in Guildford, then we can go .. en mass to the Aerodrome.(maybe have to stop for a coffee and a polishing stop on the way )

Does anyone have an idea of the timeings ? When does it kick off ? finish ?

Jason
PS just gave the wedge another coat of Autoglym this evening .. I may not be the fastest, but if the rest of you cannot see where your going, I may have an advantage there ! ....

Sounds good to me Jason. Will get the map out on the weekend, swap mobile numbers etc. Apparently refreshments will be "limited" so breaky sounds about right!
PS dont worry mine will be the slowest (its supposed to be)
