I think that you'll find that it's a different stud spacing.

They put Cerbera wheels on my SEAC chassis to move it around during the body-off rebuild - no idea if the fit was EXACT or whether the body would have dropped back on OK though. Certainly got all the bolts in though....

The stud pattern should be the same, but offset would be different.

Wedge PCD is 112 and Cerb is 114.3 so across studs dig approx 2mm diff, sounds like they fit though so diff must be catered for by the tolerance. Will fit half an inch further into the wheel arches which could be reduced by the use of 5mm wheel spacers. Hmmm, not a bad idea really; the only thing is - do you want super curvy wheels on a Wedge?

What sort of seat do the wheel nuts have? If they're a tapered seat then you might be able to get the wheel over the studs with 2mm different pcd, but it certainly wouldn't be safe to drive like that. In any case you still need to make sure the internal shoulder on the wheel fits the corresponding shoulder on the hub otherwise the wheel will not be located properly. If the stud pattern is different I wouldn't put money on the hub locating the wheel properly.

Ah, I see what you mean, if it's tapered on the Cerb then you'd be bending the studs out. So you need wheel spacers and remachined seats. Oh dear.

There is a recent post on TVRCC Wedge forum that suggests Cerb wheels have been fitted as direct replacement to a 350i.
Also search under 'wheels' Sept 10th 2004 this forum - similar suggestion.
Possibly worth contacting the individuals to confirm whether any problems encountered.

Re cerbera wheels, Are they really 2mm out on the PCD ??? because i know some very good TVR specialists that have confirmed to me that they fit perfectly, i agree that if they are out by that much they shouldn't be fitted. confused..
