yup - 3000. It was 5000 last year but with a new house (read greatly increase mortgage) the car is going to be used even less. With 5000 miles the quote was £308.

That's bluddy good considering what you've had done to it - just had a quote for the Cerb, well - couldn't let suffolkfox come across without someone going the other way.. and that was £426 fc initially with 3000 miles.. bummer that it's another couple of hundred when the sun can't even touch your bonce..

And miss out on future BBWFs and general frivolities with you guys.. never!! This is a little early redundancy pressie to myself.. midlife crisis follows shortly after, hold on think I'm already there Was seriously contemplating a SEAC but couldn't justify 2 wedges (I know, how could I not), having finally got the 400 the way I wanted it the thought of selling would have been a real git - nope, couldn't face it so the wedge is a stayer.. long live the wedge problem was that I was full speed ahead buying mode and seriously needed a fix.. and the rest as they say - is fibreglass

I'm glad that someone has brought this subject up.

I am about to start looking at insurance for the 350 as it's been off the road for a year after a driveshaft detonated, she's all back together now and ready to go!
My last insurer was Classic line who I believe are reasonably priced or at least were back then.
Can I ask for a straw pole of which insurers are being used and what sort of cover they are giving.

mine is with ClassicLine. Fortunately never had to claim but their staff are friendly and efficient and as you can see, their premiums are still cheap!

Adrian Flux, initially £318, 3000 miles, garaged, lots of hassle with body mods (wing) and wheels -> premium eventually "loaded" to £385 (at time of initial qoute I didn't know all the mods as was getting cover to pick up the car when buying). Wouldn't explain to me what mods caused the extra cost and were pretty unhelpful -> probably wouldn't use them next time.

ClassicLine £148 FC. 1500 miles. Oddly enough only goes up by £28 if I was to insure a V8S.

Anyone got a link for classicline then as might try and see what they charge for modified 400.

Also anyone know a classic policy that covers for ungaraged as might get the 350 insured again if cheap enough

Classicline here as well, 6k miles, 350i, £280.

But only another £20 for a 430SE.

Didn't ask them about a 430SX (the next stage of the upgrade...)
