Rad. fan mount

I have a cooling fan mounting assembly consisting of two plates which attach top and bottom of the rad., and the two threaded rods which locate into these plates and which supports the fan motor (picture K5 in the Wedge parts manual) going free if anyone has a need for them (not just to sell on) which I took off my 350I several years ago.

HI,Talking about fans,on my 350i the fan not fixed,it just sits there at the bottom of radiator (just hope it doesn't decide to start moving about)

i asked the same question about the rad fan on the 350i and was told that some 350i's had a fan that just slides from one end to the other ,ie not fixed in place as it does not fall out and just slides from end to end ....

having a moving fan is a new one on me. Sounds a bit of a lash-up even for TVR. Has someone just forgotten to put the mounts back after a recore?
