battery type? help please

With a small battery compartment on the wedge, what would you recommend as the best battery to turn over a 350i?

Current fit (Bosch) only has 40aH...looks like it's off a Metro! I bought a Delphi 70aH battery which is supposed to fit the wedge, but the width is about 5mm too wide. All suggestions gratefully received!

Had exactly the same scenario myself not too long ago and managed to find larger battery that is absolutely brilliant. Type on label says MD8/096L and it is rated at 700CCA and 74AH. Sounds similar to the one you have though. It was certainly a tight squeeze fitting it but once battery is in the right position it will fit OK (and, yes, it does come back out without too much trouble!). Best of luck.
