It's a Ford UK unit and actually no more than a bit more sophisticated electronic ignition. I don't know of any US cars that used it.

Check your other post for possible solutions to your problem.
These electronic ignition systems on older cars are very dependent on having the correct coil.
For example on the older Porsches the wrong coil will "cook" the MSD ($1400)
I have a test rig for the P car ignition, no doubt I could set it up to test your module if needed. (I'm in NJ)
