My lovely wife has hinted that she might like to buy me a pair of s.s. kick plates/sill guards for the Wedge this Christmas, or did I mention it to her?
Anyway, there arnt any available with logo for 450SE.
Leven Tech do nice polished s.s. type, but last sold a pair for 450SE some 3 years ago.
RT and DG have none in stock either.
However, Leven Tech still have artwork and to make it cost effective need to stamp out 4 or 5 pairs from the s.s.sheet - So are there any 450 owners out there still with naked sills like mine?

Price is same as quoted in cataloge £60 ish.

- or can you advise of any other suppliers to try?
Cheers
Paul

Yep, mine are butt naked!.

Trouble is that all 450SE sills are not the same!. I was talking to Simon when I got a pair for my 350i, it is only when you try to fit the plates that you realise that the TVR moulds are not quite symetrical.

One side sill of the 350i was a different size to the other!. The same goes for different models 280i sills are not the same as 350i / 390 / 400 / 450's etc. You gotta be careful when measuring up these things to make sure that they will fit both sides.

I can produce the artwork film for the 450SE plates no problemo and output them to film ready for etching. Does anybody know who can knock 'em up for us cheap as chips?.

It was me !! I took the last pair saying 450 SE from Leven.

I originally enquired about them for the 400, but as I had the 450 engine sitting in the garage I thought I'd see if they had any available just in case ! And was told it was the last one, even got a discount

Decided to take the 450 ones just to confuse anyone looking at the car with 400 badges on side and boot and then 450 once you open the door

Now it has the 450 lump in it.

Sorry guys

Good job you didn't buy SEAC ones as that would really confuse a lot of people

I was thinking of changing it to SEAC as the engine is basically a SEAC engine !

But as you say that confused even me yet alone others, and I'd have to remodel the nose slightly to get a better SEAC look !

Mine's got plain stainless with a mirror finish - looks like they have been cut to fit from a sheet as they cover the sill completely.

Would like to fit some nice new shiney bits but any spare credit's going on basics at the moment !

Ah well, didn't get very far with the quest for kick plates, - I'll put that on the back burner for now.

I might have a new knob fitted instead

Can I be of assistance sir? That's with the kickplates!

I bought these for my SEAC which of course I later found out has a much narrower sill than any other wedge. Sad for me, but good news for you - YHM shortly.
