Dunno if anyone else was driving around Cambs
last night but there was this strange rain falling
that showed up really strongly in the headlights...
Anyway after a few back-end 'moments' accelerating
out of roundabouts on the A505 I finally twigged -
it was snowing!
I am in the habit of driving with the driving lights
on as my headlights are a bit on the dim side, but
they weren't much help last night. When I got home
I found out why - both lights had built up snow to
a depth of 3 inches over them.
I can't believe in 10 years of wedge motoring I haven't
noticed this before. It seems like quite a design flaw,
or was this just 'the wrong kind of snow'.....
