As winter is the time to treat, fix and renew things, I'm curious about your plans for the wedges this winter! I've been thinking about:
- cleaning and painting the chassis;
- checking all mass and wires and
- fitting swirlpot which i had made but still haven't
fitted

Having just got it back on the road, I will mostly to be doing some Wedging
This is where the preparation for Le Mans 05 starts.
I also hope to do, tie bar bushes, rear camber set-up, all coolant hoses, front break pads and looking into the handbrake.

Well the taz needs a new engine after the birkett, so its either chuck in the spare 2.8 or if i can find someone with a nice fat budget that wants to run it next year i've got a 2.9 24v cosworth sitting in the garage...

otherwise its just a diff change and an nut an bolt check..

Wife is now a wedge widow due to my latest acquisition and the start of the winter project that includes:

Rear suspension - New springs/superflex bushes
Diff - New LSD oil
Brakes - Adjust handbrake/Paint/Flush Hyd oil/new pads
Fuel System - New pump/Filters (In and out of pump) new rubber and stainless steel fuel pipes.
Gearbox - New gearbox mounts (Oil already changed)
Engine (Oil/Filter changed already) new mounts, manifolds paint and heat wrap, new silicon water hoses, set timing for unleaded, new HT leads, new coil
Front suspension- superflex bushes
Interior - New veneer, refurbish leather seats etc
Chassis/Suspension - Wire brush, hammerite, waxoyl
Body - Stoneguard arches
etc etc etc

Maybe a bit over the top as the car is a low mileage and in fairly good condition but as the wife say’s it keeps me off the streets

This winter plans ...

Spend a few weeks touching up all the stone ships from Le Surrey Run2 and Le Mans.
Not Gonna Waxoil the chassis until the Summer .. Must take the brake pads off and remove the glaze.

Also .. Must fine an auto Electrician to sort out my electrical gremlins.

Fit my Cibie Airport spots that I bought in France

Remore and sort out my centre dash / Heater mechanicals

That reminds me .. Must find another Specialist closer to home too.

Well if I ever get my car back, I will try and clean etc the chassis and do as mush as I can. I've been without her since the rear calipers gave up on the way to the BBWF back in July, but that's another story....

Fit a Kenlowe pre-heater. Used to run one on the 350 when it was our only car - set to come on with a timer.

Yep busy but must admit I find working on the TVR quite therapeutic after a day at work, lock myself in the garage and immerse myself in the TVR, total switch off.

What’s the idle problem ?
