START INJECTOR 1986 350i

Hi,Can you tell me do most people remove the start injector and blank it off,as it seems more touble than its worth.If I blank it off will have problems starting then?.

Just disconnect the electrics.

Thanks,yes thought about doing that,but wondered if if injector was leaking and affecting mixture?

mine has run with the multiplug disconnected and the fuel line still in for several years without a problem.
